The Prince of Peace, that is the statue of Him, arrived Friday afternoon, August 26th, to our parish’s church at St. Patrick. Dodge City artist, Dennis Burghart, has been sculpting the statue for 10 months. The narthex niche has been awaiting something special for years, and the statue seems like a perfect fit. Enjoy the slides, especially the last one! Along with the wooden relief at St. Rose, also sculpted by Dennis, both of our churches now have another place for prayer and reflection in honor of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
