Sacrament of Confirmation
Confirmation in our parish is an 8th grade Sacrament.
Birth and Baptism Certificates
Prince of Peace Parish has NO storage space to store all birth certificates, therefore you need to resubmit copies of birth certificates for each sacrament.
If your child was baptized at Prince of Peace (either St. Patrick or St. Rose church), we will not need a copy of baptismal certificate. Otherwise, a baptism that has taken place at another church will need to submit a copy of their baptism certificate. We need to have a copy of their Baptismal and Birth Certificates to verify for our Sacrament books.

Your sponsor is a huge part of this incredible process. They should be someone that beautifully represents the Catholic faith to you, and someone that you would like to model your life after.
Requirements for a sponsor:
- Be a Catholic who is at least sixteen years old.
- Have received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.
- Be a person who leads “a life of faith in keeping with the function to be taken on.”
- If married, marriage is a sacramental marriage and recognized by the Catholic Church. Cannot be living with a partner outside of a Catholic marriage.
- If single, sponsor cannot be living with a partner outside of a Catholic marriage.
- Not be a parent of the candidate.
If you have any questions about selecting a sponsor, please contact Jaclyn Brown. I will happily help you pick someone that will aid you in this process.
Here is the Confirmation Sponsor Form that needs to be filled out and returned by April 1.
